Did you know that the Moon is the only natural satellite of the Earth?

That's how it is! The Moon is the only natural satellite of the Earth. With an equatorial diameter of 3,474 km, it is the fifth largest satellite in the solar system.

The Moon produces the ocean tides and is responsible for keeping planet Earth's climate regulated by keeping the Earth's tilt axis stable. Ganymede, with a diameter of more than 5,000 kilometers, is the largest moon in the solar system and is the most prominent natural satellite of Jupiter.

Without the presence of the Moon, the Earth would make 1 revolution every 8 hours, when it normally does so in 24 hours, that is, one day.
